What we collect and why
When you complete a contact, valuation or property-search form, call us, or reach us via WhatsApp or email, we process your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, your property preferences (area, property type, budget, bedrooms, timing) and the content of your message. We also collect technical and usage data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy). We use this only to respond to your enquiry, present relevant properties and communicate with you.
Legal bases
We process your data to handle your request and communicate with you (performance of, or steps towards, a contract, and/or your consent); to present suitable offers; to improve our services and website via analytics (only with your consent); to comply with legal obligations; and for security and fraud prevention (legitimate interest).
Recipients
We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers supporting us under a data-processing agreement: website hosting and security (Hostinger, Cloudflare); CRM/lead management (HubSpot); email and office software (Google Workspace); website statistics and marketing (Google Analytics/Tag Manager, LinkedIn), only after your consent; embedded media (YouTube, Google Maps); reviews (Trustindex); and publication of listings on property portals (including Idealista) and our own rental site homzrentals.com. Where necessary for your purchase we share data with parties such as the notary.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers take place under an adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep your data no longer than necessary: leads that do not result in an agreement for up to 2 years after last contact; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; accounting and tax records for up to 7 years; analytics according to the platform settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. Send requests to robin@homzagency.com; we respond within one month at the latest.
Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: Spain (AEPD), the Netherlands (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), Belgium (Data Protection Authority) or the United Kingdom (ICO).
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (HTTPS/TLS, restricted access, data-processing agreements). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
